Top Takeaways from Sunday's Message

Here are the Top Takeaways from Pastor Chad's Message yesterday:

  • Before Moses struck down the Egyptian and hid the body in Exodus 2, he looked this way and that to see if anyone was around and watching him. How often do we do the same thing when we sin?

  • God is still in control. Israel will always be under His care. We need to pray for Israel.

  • In Exodus, Israel had forgotten God and were in bondage and slavery. The United States has forgotten God as well, and discipline is coming.

  • We must stand up for what is right, what God’s Word says is true, even when under persecution from the world.

  • So many churches today are just a “show”. They don’t worship the Lord, they worship the music or the pastor. Only God deserves the glory and the praise.

  • Are you the same outside of the church as you are inside of it? Don’t “play” church, BE the church!

  • Satan loves to remind us of our sins, but when we’re covered by the blood of Jesus our sins are as far from us as the east is to the west!

  • No matter what the United States looks like today, if you know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, God takes care of His people.

  • Even after the miracles and blessings in our own lives, we still want to argue with God when He wants us to do something.

  • God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies those that He calls. He gives you the gifts and abilities that you need to do what He wants you to do. His plans always succeed.

  • Moses did not want to leave his comfortable life. We may have to give up things of our own when God calls us to do something or go somewhere. Friends, family, jobs, nothing is more important than God.

  • You don’t need to be someone special, you just need to be willing to surrender to God, to let Him use you for His will to be done by saying “yes, Lord”. It may not necessarily be easy, but it will be the best thing you’ve ever done!
